Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Rotating shift schedule with weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• 22-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA only)
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/acute stroke management, emergency medications, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, ventilator management, and obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
