Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical with Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM or 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Float required to 6E, acute rehab unit, and geriatric psych unit
• Work with adult patients with a small amount of pediatrics (1-5 pediatric patients per year)
• Common patient diagnoses include post-surgical, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer
• Work across units 7 West, 7 East, and 5 East with 60 total beds
• Serve a diverse patient population including African American and Korean-speaking communities
• Charting system: Epic
• IV pumps: Alaris
• Scrubs: Navy
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care
• Driver's license required at submittal
• BSN not required
• Must pass an open book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation
• Required certifications: BLS
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
