Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2322.84

Opportunity:

RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available on days (6:30 AM to 7:00 PM) and nights (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Cyclic self-scheduling with weekend requirement of at minimum every 3rd weekend
• Minimum of 2 holidays required
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Unit consists of 35 beds with patient ratios of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Nurse aides and patient care techs available on unit at a ratio of 1:10-15
• Charge nurse present on each shift
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, brain injury, critical illness, and neurological diseases such as MS and Parkinson's in adult and geriatric populations
• Administer antibiotics, anticoagulation, and antiplatelet drips at set rates (titration of drips not required)
• Float to MedSurg as needed
• Orientation includes classroom training and 2 twelve-hour shifts on the unit
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certification: BLS
• BSN not required
• Driver's license required at time of submittal
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Strong communication skills, organization, teamwork, problem solving, and compassion are attributes that will make a nurse successful on this unit

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit with 35 beds serving adult and geriatric patients. The unit provides specialized rehabilitation services for patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, amputations, brain injuries, and neurological conditions. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains a collaborative, patient-centered care environment supported by a charge nurse on every shift and dedicated patient care technicians.
