Opportunity:

MRI Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Days vary on a rotating schedule
• Weekend requirement included in schedule
• Holiday requirement included in schedule
• Call/standby required - call would be every other Thursday as backup coverage for overnight staff on PTO or call-outs
• Must have Trauma Level I experience
• Perform a wide range of MRI studies including cardiac, breast, and some angiography imaging
• Average of 35-40 scans/studies per day
• Work with Siemens MRI equipment including Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T scanners in a 3-room department
• Use EPIC and McKesson (transitioning to Merge) EMR/PACS systems
• Required to start IVs
• Cover MRI department only - no floating to other areas
• Gray scrubs required - scrubs are not provided
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Valid driver's license required at submittal
• 1 week of flexible training/orientation provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)

This acute care facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center, providing comprehensive medical services across a wide range of specialties. The radiology department features a fully staffed MRI unit with 3 scanners and 24/7 coverage, supported by in-house radiologists during the day and residents overnight. The facility utilizes modern imaging technology and electronic medical record systems to ensure high-quality patient care.
