Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• 40-hour guaranteed contract per week
• Daily caseload of 25 patients per day
• No on-call required
• No floating between units required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• California state license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (T) - Radiation Therapy
• ARIA skillset required; EPIC charting system preferred
• Proficiency with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking costs covered by facility
• Required skills include: Custom Molds, Custom Shields, Tumor Localization, Block Cutting, B-Mode Acquisition Targeting, CBCT/kV/mV Imaging, Compensation Filters, Portal Cast, Wedges, Calculate Dose of Radiation, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Radiation Safety, and Isolation Precautions/PPE
• Software experience required includes: Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian)
• Must be comfortable treating Young Adult, Middle Adult, and Older Adult patient populations

The facility is equipped with advanced technology including Varian linear accelerators and utilizes EPIC for electronic charting. The center maintains a high standard of patient care with a structured daily caseload and a supportive clinical environment designed to meet the needs of oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
