Opportunity:
Respiratory Therapist
Job Details:
• Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified respiratory therapist
• Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures
• Deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients
• Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
• Maintain airways and manage ventilators including ventilator weaning
• Perform tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, and BiPAP management
• Administer nebulizer treatments
• Insert arterial lines and perform intubations
• Conduct pulmonary function studies and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
• Perform blood gas analysis
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience with ventilators, tracheostomy, ET tube, CPAP, BiPAP, and nebulizer treatments required
• NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
• Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association)
