Opportunity:
Radiology Technologist
Job Details:
• Perform MRI procedures at a technologist level in accordance with established protocols
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and OR work
• Practice radiation safety while adhering to ALARA standards
• Operate imaging equipment consistent with manufacturer recommendations
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and independently contact service engineers for outside maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate patient records in EHR, including charging for procedures and supplies
• Assist in other imaging modalities as needed, demonstrating flexibility with scheduling
• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required
• Assist, train, or cross-train imaging staff members as directed
• Order, stock, and maintain supply inventory
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R), including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Two (2) years of prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist preferred
• Cross-training in other modalities including DEXA and Mammography preferred
• Experience with electronic records including PACS and RIS/HIS preferred
