Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• Weekend shifts are required as blocked shifts
• On-call required approximately 1 night per week from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract; cancelled shifts must be the regular assigned shift length
• Floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT MR, ARRT R
• Required skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Preferred skills include: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, Abdomen, Abdominal MRA/MRV, MR Cardiac with/without Contrast, Brain, Head MRA/MRV, Neck MRV, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, Cervical, Lumbar, and Spinal Trauma
• Experience with GE 1.5T and 3T equipment preferred
• Inpatient, outpatient, ICU, Level 1 trauma, and cardiac MRI experience preferred
• Patients served include neonates, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• Scrub color: Navy

This facility is a 550-bed tertiary care hospital and a five-time Magnet Award winner, recognized for nursing excellence and outstanding patient care. As a teaching institution and Level 1 Trauma Center, it offers a dynamic and advanced clinical environment with access to comprehensive specialty services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides free parking for staff.
