Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2354.92

Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient age groups include infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: NRP, CRRT
• Required skills include: breathing treatments, chest tube set-up and care, CPAP/BiPAP, high frequency vents, oscillators, procedural sedation, RSI - rapid sequence intubation drugs, trach care, ventilator management, blood and blood products administration, CVP monitoring, 12 lead EKG, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, PICC and central lines, port-a-cath and vascular device access and care, syringe pumps, traction/halo/pin care, triple lumen catheter, and wound vac
• Experience with pediatric critical care, ENT, general surgery, ortho, and post-op/pre-op preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• 24 hours of orientation provided

Facility:

This facility operates a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 6 beds serving a daily census of 4 patients. The unit is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries. The facility provides a collaborative and well-resourced environment focused on delivering high-quality critical care to pediatric patients.
