EP Lab

Job Details:

• Block scheduling type
• Average daily census of 6 patients with 4-6 cases per day
• 3 procedure rooms
• No call, no float requirements
• First-time travelers welcome
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must have knowledge, skills, and abilities to maintain high quality clinical execution of all electrophysiology procedures including programmed electrical stimulation, sterile scrub technique, catheter ablation for cardiac arrhythmias, and device implantation for cardiac rhythm management
• Required equipment experience: Bloom Stimulator, Stereotaxis, Carto, Navix
• Preferred monitoring system experience: Life Peak Defibrillator, Cardio Lab
• Preferred skills: 3D Mapping
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required skills include: accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluation, equipment setup, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulator, scrub and sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems
• Must be able to care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Must be able to bend, lift patients and/or equipment, stand for long periods of time, and wear lead
• Positive teamwork practices required in communication, collaboration, and problem solving with physicians and nursing personnel
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES
