Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 4-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for POD 1-3 patients
• Primary nursing model with unit secretaries and tech availability
• Must have 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery
• Advanced skills required: ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, and Hemosphere or Acumen training
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Floating policy requires maintaining the same patient ratio as the unit floated to
• Required certification: ACLS
• Required dress code: Navy Blue
• Work within a new cardiac surgery program launch
