Opportunity:
MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Tuesday through Thursday night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level 1 experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
• 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• State license required
• Hunter green scrubs required
• Perform MRI procedures across a wide range of body areas including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and cardiac imaging
• Perform advanced imaging techniques including MRA, MRV, MRCP, perfusion imaging, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Starting peripheral IVs required
• Utilize PACS system and Philips imaging equipment
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE as needed
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where qualifications and documented competencies apply
• Weekend patient ratio of 2
• 36 orientation hours required
