Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Patient ratios of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for POD 1-3 patients
• Primary nursing model utilized on the unit
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Required dress code: Navy Blue
• Floating policy requires maintaining the same patient ratio as the unit floated to
• 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery required
• Advanced skills required: ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen training
• Unit is part of a new cardiac surgery program launch
• Required certifications: ACLS
