Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Specialty Unit

Job Details:

• Work in a 26-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Unit team includes Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, and Unit Secretary
• Self-scheduling with weekend requirements: three weekend shifts in a four-week period on day shift and four weekend shifts in a four-week period on night shift
• No on-call requirements
• Float to Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and OSS units as needed
• Telemetry experience required
• Advanced experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure preferred
• Perform titration of IV medications including cardiac, heparin, and insulin medications
• Work with pacemaker equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Dress code: Royal blue scrub top and black pants required

This facility is home to a brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit designed to provide specialized cardiac care in a modern setting. The unit supports a comprehensive cardiac care team and is equipped with advanced cardiac monitoring technology, including pacemakers. The facility follows hospital-wide policies and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care across all departments.
