Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Day shift, 8 hours, with start time varying between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM based on patient volume
• Weekend call required on a rotated basis from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• California state license preferred; pending license accepted
• First time travelers welcome
• 2 treatment rooms with a daily caseload of 20 patients per machine
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Special procedures include SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) and SBRT
• CT Simulator: Toshiba
• Required certifications: ARRT (T) and state license
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required include: Adult Acute Care, Bean Data Acquisition, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Electron Field, Elekta Infinity, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Tomo Therapy, Varian 21 ex/ix, Impac MOSAIQ, and others
• Scrubs or business casual dress code required
• Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• RTO restrictions: no more than 7 days; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
• 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
