RN - Cardiac Care

Job Details:

• Day shift position
• EPIC experience required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify outcomes for the patient or patient's situation
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
• Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
• Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
• Current RN licensure in state of practice required
• Willing to approve 1 holiday off, but traveler must be willing to work the other holiday
