Requirements:

• Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable)
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• BLS certification required
• 1+ years of outpatient nursing experience required
• Strong communication, triage, and patient education skills

Duties:

• Provide nursing care and support to patients in an outpatient clinic, physician office, or ambulatory setting
• Perform patient intake, assessments, and vital signs prior to provider visits
• Administer medications, injections, and treatments per physician orders
• Assist providers with in-office procedures and exams as needed
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and diagnostic testing
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
• Respond to patient phone calls/messages regarding symptoms, medications, and care questions
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient communication in the EMR
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and infection control standards
