**Exciting Opportunity for a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse!**

**Job Description:**
- **Start Date:** September
- **Shift:** Day Shift (07:00 - 19:30)
- **Schedule:** 3x12 Hour Shifts
- **Weekend Requirement:** Yes, every other weekend
- **Floating Requirement:** Yes, rotate through L&D, circulator, baby RN, triage, high risk antepartum
- **On-Call Requirement:** No

**Job Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- **Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- **Flu Vaccine Requirement:** Flu vaccine mandatory during flu season (no exemptions)
- **First Time Travelers:** Yes, but must have a minimum of 3 years L&D RN experience
- **Special Experience:** High Risk Antepartum & teaching hospital experience
- **Licensure:** Must hold an active California RN license at the time of submission

**Skills and Expertise Needed:**
- Administer blood and blood products
- Amnioinfusion
- Normalize antepartum and postpartum care
- Manage high risk deliveries and applications of IV therapy
- Perform Cesarean Sections and vaginal deliveries
- Utilize fetal monitoring techniques
- Provide support in breastfeeding and lactation
- Assess and respond to complications such as hemorrhage and pre-eclampsia
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care

**Unit Details:**
- **Patient Age Groups:** Neonates, Adolescents, Adults
- **Daily Census:** 15-20
- **Special Procedures:** Vaginal deliveries, C-Sections, IUPC placement, and monitoring
