**Job Description:**

- **Location:** 2316 E Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64114
- **Unit Name:** 6W Transplant Nephrology
- **Number of Beds:** 20
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:6
- **Unit Staffing:**
- Unit Secretary available during the day
- Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) available
- Unit Educator on-site
- **Type of Equipment:** Meditech Documentation System

- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- 3 weekend shifts per month

- **On Call Requirements:** No

- **Floating Policy:** Agency/Contract nurses float first

- **Patient Experience Requirements:** Committed to excellent patient care

- **Certifications:**
- Level 1 Trauma Certification

- **Hiring Profile:**
- **Requested Skill Set:** Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, dialysis
- Must have ADN

- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- Med/Surg care
- Dialysis performed off of the unit

- **Dress Code:**
- Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants allowed

- **Unit Guidelines/Policies:**
- Unit-specific policies and guidelines available

- **Awards/Recognition:**
