**Exciting Night Shift Opportunity in Cardiac Care!**

**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team specializing in Cardiac Stepdown care!
- Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Contract Length: 13 to 26 weeks
- Must have 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
- Requirements:
- Strong Cardiac Stepdown experience
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIH certification required
- Med and arrhythmia exam required
- Patient Care:
- Adult and Geriatric patient age groups
- Daily Census: Approximately 20 patients
- Patient Ratios: 4 patients per nurse during all shifts
- Skills Needed:
- Blood Product Administration
- Cardiac Telemetry
- Central line care/management
- Chest tube management
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- IV starting and maintenance
- Telemetry monitoring
- Titration of cardiac drips
- Unit Details:
- Interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more
- Common patient diagnoses:
- STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF
- PPM and Defibrillator placement
- Arrhythmias and CVA care
- Orientation:
- 36 hours of orientation provided
- Modules required before starting (up to 16 hours billable)
- Floating Policy:
- Opportunity to float to other units within the facility when necessary, based on your qualifications
