### Join Our Dynamic Night Shift Team!

#### Job Description:

- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- **Contract Length:** 20 weeks, perfect for the holiday season!
- **Unit:** Intermediate ICU, a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1.
- **Daily Census:** Average of 24 patients, providing essential care for diverse medical/surgical, cardiac, renal, pulmonary, and trauma-related conditions.

#### Required Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a telemetry or ICU setting.
- Proficient in:
- IV Starts
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Peripheral line care/management
- Non-invasive airway management
- Post-cardiac catheterization and vascular surgical care
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- **Traveler Experience:** First-time travelers not accepted; locals welcome.

#### Preferred Skills:
- Charge Nurse experience
- Experience with wound care/wound vacs

#### Additional Information:
- **Floating:** Some floating required to our Cardiac Telemetry unit (ratios may vary).
- **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend.
- **Patient Population:** Primarily adults (18-65 years) and geriatric patients (65 years and over) requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring.
- **Special Procedures:**
- Continuous ECG monitoring
- Titration of vasoactive drugs
- Emergency assistive procedures during Code Blue situations
- Comprehensive patient education and emotional support.

#### Orientation and Scheduling:
- **Unit Orientation:** 36 hours on unit.
- **Self-Scheduling:** Based on unit needs with flexibility.
