Requirements:

• Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license as applicable)
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• BLS certification required
• COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) preferred
• 1+ years of employee health/occupational health experience required
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, immunization protocols, and workplace injury/illness management

Duties:

• Provide health services and clinical care for facility employees, including illness and injury evaluation
• Conduct new hire health screenings, immunizations, and annual health assessments (TB testing, flu shots, titers)
• Manage workplace exposure incidents (bloodborne pathogen, infectious disease) per facility protocol
• Coordinate workers' compensation case management, including injury documentation and follow-up care
• Educate employees on workplace safety, infection prevention, and wellness initiatives
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Joint Commission, and regulatory recordkeeping requirements
• Collaborate with HR, department leaders, and occupational medicine providers on employee health matters
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and case management activities in the EMR
• Support health promotion and wellness programs for staff
• Respond to on-site employee medical emergencies and provide first aid/triage as needed
