**Exciting Nursing Opportunity on the 12 Tower!**

**Job Description:**

- **Shift:** 19:00-07:00
- **Location:** 2300 Patterson Street, Unit 12 Tower
- **Number of Beds:** 36
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 / 1:5

**Unit Staffing:**
- Secretary available every day
- PRN Technicians on call

**Equipment:**
- PD Cyclers
- Welch Allyn VS Carts
- Hoyer Lift
- Broda Chairs
- Alaris IV Pumps

**Documentation System:** Meditech

**Scheduling Requirements:**
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block

**Floating Policy:**
- Float over core staff as needed

**Patient Experience Requirements:**
- Bedside shift report
- Safety checks every 1-2 hours
- Focus on communication and responsiveness

**Qualifications:**
- Must have BLS and NIHSS certifications
- Able to perform basic patient assessments and general care for:
- Wounds
- Tracheostomy
- Ostomy
- Drains
- Chest Tubes
- Strokes
- Seizures

**Patient Population:**
- May require dialysis or PCA pumps
- Heparin is the only drip medication on the unit

**Post-Op Procedures:**
- Amputations
- Ostomy care
- Drains and chest tubes
- Oral surgeries
- Wound vacs

**Dress Code:**
- Scrubs in Navy, Blue, White, Black, Gray, or Ceil Blue

**Unit Guidelines/Policies:**
- HAI prevention
- CVC and Foley monitoring with standard precautions
- Fall prevention
- 100% Medication Scanning, including controlled substances
- Attendance per policy

**Team Environment:**

- Supportive and experienced charge nurses and leadership
