Description
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team providing **direct nursing care** following established policies and protocols.
- Implement and monitor **patient care plans** to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, recording and sharing vital patient condition information.
- Act as the **primary coordinator** for all disciplines, facilitating well-coordinated patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Assess and collaborate on a patient's **discharge planning needs** with the healthcare team.

- Requires **critical thinking skills** and decisive judgment within the scope of the role.
- Ability to excel in a **stressful environment** with minimal supervision.
**Unit Description:**
- Work in a **30-bed observation and medical-surgical unit** with telemetry capabilities.
- Care for a **diverse patient population** with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6.
- Empowered by **PCTs** and a **Healthcare Unit Coordinator** for optimal support.
- Access to **virtual sitter monitoring** and monitor techs for telemetry patients.
- Be a part of a **Level I trauma center** serving patients of all ages.
- Collaborate and thrive in a **team-oriented environment**.
**Requirements:**
- *All travelers must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as needed.*
**Credentials:**
- Active nursing license required.
- Complete necessary onboarding exams and health history checks upon hire.
