**Join Our Team as a Nurse Coordinator!**

**Job Description:**

- Exciting opportunity to work at the Needham Cancer Center!
- Full-time position: 8:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Collaborate with a phenomenal team dedicated to oncology care.
- Support medical oncology physicians and nurse practitioners in an ambulatory setting.
- Help patients navigate their cancer journey with compassion and expertise.
- Coordinate treatment starts and evaluations by other specialties.
- Perform telephone triage for patients, answering questions and providing guidance.
- Ensure seamless management of patient appointments for an improved experience.
- Conduct patient education and symptom management to enhance care quality.
- Required:
- 2+ years of oncology experience, preferably in outpatient care coordination.
- Skills in making VNA/Hospice/DME referrals and coordinating specialist referrals.
- Experience setting up imaging and IR procedures.
- Knowledge of obtaining authorization for specialty oral chemotherapy drugs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

**Orientation:**
- Weekly sessions every Monday (unless a holiday).
