**Job Description:**
- Shifts: Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
- Rotation: Weekends/Holidays
- No Call Required
- Floating Required

**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Open to 1st time travelers
- Certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS
- Permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital’s service area
- Completion of compliance documents due by the deadline to start any Sunday
- Includes 16 hours of non-billable orientation

**Key Details:**
- Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without financial penalties if census decreases
- Additional shifts above work commitment will be flexed as needed without penalty
- Active participation in nursing student support and clinical education expected

**Qualifications:**
- Previous Charge Experience: 2 years
- Patient Ratio Experience: 5 for PCU (7 on MS)
- Preferred Charting System: Epic
- Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
- Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred

**Skills:**
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood Product Administration
- Care of Ventilated Patients
- Central line care/management
- Feeding tube care and management
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Telemetry: on-unit and remote monitoring
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Manage Cardiac and Vasoactive drips (no titration)
- And many more specialized skills

**Unit Details:**
- Staffing & Scheduling: Self-scheduling with 5 patient ratios
- Daily Census: 37
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more

**Additional Information:**
- Orientation Hours: 24
- Candidates will be required to complete a drug test within 12 - 14 calendar days prior to start; must not have other engagements during this timeframe
- Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing compliance
