**Job Description:**

- **Position:** MS Tele Float Nurse
- **Shift:** Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 - 1:8 (team nursing)
- **Experience Required:** Minimum 1 year
- **First-timers Accepted:** Yes
- **Weekend Requirement:** Every other weekend
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- **On-call Requirement:** No
- **Will float within scope:** Yes, to meet facility needs
- **Local Candidates:** Not accepted within 50 miles
- **Pending Licenses:** Not accepted
- **RTO Restrictions:** 5 days or less preferred

**Qualifications & Skills:**

- **Years of Experience:** 2 years of charge experience preferred
- **Charting System Experience:** Required (Epic)
- **Telemetry Skills:**
- Cardiac telemetry
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
- **Patient Care Skills:**
- Aneurysms and repair
- BIPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Central line care/management
- Continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
- High flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
- Post MI, Pre/Post cardiac cath and surgery
- Tracheostomy care/management
- Seizure disorders
- Spinal cord injury management
