**Job Description:**

- **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum 1 year; 1st Timers accepted
- **Patient Population:**
- Adolescents to Geriatrics
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- **General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:**
- No Block Scheduling
- Neuro/Stroke PCU floor
- Respiratory, cardiac, mixed medical care
- Titrating cardiac drips required
- Continuous telemetry monitoring
- Assignments for PCU level patients
- **Patient Ratio/Census:**
- Ratio: 1:4
- 36 Beds with average daily census of 30
- **Unit Systems:**
- Epic
- Pyxis
- SBAR
- **Scrub Color:**
- Navy Blue
- **RTO:**
- Max 7 days; Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
- **Floating:**
- Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed
- **Holidays:**
- Expected to work major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
- **Compliance:**
- Full compliance required to start on time
- **Orientation:**
- Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours determined by contract length

- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Manage Cardiac drips (no titration)
- Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration)
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Nasal Cannula administration
- Neuro Stepdown experience
- Non-invasive airway management
- Oxygen administration
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown nursing
- Peripheral Line Care/Management
- Phlebotomy
- PICC line management
- Pre/Post neurosurgery care
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Telemetry (on the unit monitoring)
- Titrate Cardiac drips
- Titration of Insulin drips
- Tracheostomy care/management
- Traumatic Brain injury management
- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
