**Exciting Opportunity for a Neuro-focused Telemetry Nurse!**

**Job Description:**

- **Shift:** Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- **Hours:** 36hrs or 48hrs available
- **Experience Required:** 2 years MS/Telemetry experience
- **Specialty:** LTAC MS/TELE - Days
- **Certifications Needed:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced LTAC setting
- Manage complex wound care and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Provide expert care in tracheostomy management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy

**Unit Details:**

- **Patient Ratio:** Safe and supportive staff-to-patient ratios
- **Daily Census:** Approximately 15 patients
- **Commitment:** On-call support shared among 6 to 8 staff members
- **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, with some weekend shifts supported by call

**Preferred Experience:**

- LTAC experience preferred
- Neuro-focused experience is a must

**Mandatory Skills:**

- Management of dysrhythmias
- Familiarity with community hospital charting systems
- Previous charge experience is a plus

**Additional Information:**

- Must float to other units as needed based on census
- Orientation provided every Monday
- Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
