**Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the ER!**

**Job Description:**

- **Position:** Registered Nurse (ER - Adult)
- **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- **Contract Length:** 15 weeks
- **Charting Experience Required:** EPIC
- **Weekend Requirement:** Every Other
- **Holiday Requirement:** Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
- **Accept First-Time Travelers:** Yes
- **Locals Accepted:** No RNs within 75 miles of the facility
- **License Requirement:** Must have an active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact)
- **Certifications Required:** BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (valid NIHSS must be included in submittal)

**Required Clinical Skills:**

- IV Therapy (blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting/maintaining IVs)
- IV Vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, Ventilator management
- Emergency Care (adult/pediatric ED, gunshot wounds, ortho trauma)
- Cardiac Monitoring (interpretation and management of dysrhythmias)
- Triage, Isolation Precautions
- Experience with neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, TBI

**Unit Details & Floating:**

- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 (Adults, Geriatrics)
- **Special Equipment:** Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment
- **Floating:** Will be required to float within skillset
