**Job Description:**

- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- **Contract Length:** 13-26 weeks accepted!
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5-6
- **Weekend Requirement:** 12-16 weekend shifts per contract
- **Unit Orientation:** 2 orientation shifts on the unit after hospital-based orientation
- **Scrubs:** Navy
- **Mandatory Skills/Certifications:**
- BLS
- ACLS (Preferred)
- NIHSS (Preferred)

- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing
- Preferred neuro experience
- Charge experience preferred

- **Patient Diagnoses:**
- Neuro Surgical Procedures and Neuro diagnoses

- **Unit Systems:**
- Pyxis, SBAR, EPIC

- **Daily Census:** 36

- **Interdisciplinary Support Team Includes:**
- IV Teams
- Physical Therapy
- Respiratory Services
- Interpretation Services
- Phlebotomy
- Radiology
- Social Services
- Rapid Response Teams
- Pharmacy
- Transportation
- Unit Secretary

- **Additional Responsibilities:**
- Must be flexible and willing to float to different units as needed
- Contract staff must be available for potential Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments
- May require reporting to work during catastrophic events or mass casualty situations

- **Submission Details:**
- NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal
- References can be pending at submission
