**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Night 3x12-Hour Shift (18:45 - 07:15)
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- **Traveler Experience:** Previous travel experience preferred
- **Skills Required:**
- IV start
- Ventilator management
- Telemetry and CPAP/BiPAP
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS (NIHSS preferred)
- **Target Ratios:** 1:4-5 (Mixed acuity with occasional 1:6)
- **Contract Options:** 13-26 weeks
- **Patient Population:**
- COPD
- Pneumonia
- Respiratory distress
- COVID-19
- Influenza
- Pulmonary Embolism
- **Special Procedures:**
- High acuity medical-surgical cases
- Team lead support on shift
- Chronic trach/vent patients (not exceeding one per nurse)
- **Unit Details:**
- 48 bed unit
- Staffing support including RRT, code team, and behavioral health team
- Admissions and discharge nurse available
- Vascular access team utilization
- **Availability of Resources:**
- High patient ratios supported with adequate staffing
- Acknowledging the need for teamwork and adherence to unit expectations
- **Schedule Considerations:**
- Float requirement to similar units
- Weekend commitment every other weekend
- RTO up to 7 days maximum

**Special Equipment:**
- Chest tubes
- Various IV drips (Dopamine, Cardizem, Heparin)
- Ventilators, trachs, BiPAPs/CPAPs
