**Job Description:**

- **Position:** MICU Nurse
- **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend
- **Location:** Must be over 75-mile radius from the facility
- **First-Time Travelers Accepted:** Yes
- **Charting System:** EPIC experience is required

**Patient Care Focus:**

- Care for critically ill patients, including those with:
- Sepsis
- ARDS
- Renal Failure
- Heart Failure
- Alcohol Withdrawal
- Overdose
- Multi-Organ Failure
- Post Cardiac Arrest/Targeted Temperature Management

- **Patient Nurse Ratio:** 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on acuity
- **Unit Details:**
- 16 Beds
- Interdisciplinary support from IV teams, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more

**Required Qualifications:**

- **New York License:** Must have in hand to submit
- **Experience:**
- 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous charge experience preferred
- **Certifications Needed:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS

**Essential Skills:**

- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Arterial and central line management
- Ventilator management
- Blood gas interpretation
- Management of patients with multi-system organ dysfunction

**Additional Unit Information:**

- Daily Census: 16 patients
- Focus on adult and geriatric populations
- Advanced equipment including CRRT, IABP, Impella, and ECMO
