**Job Description:**

- **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- **Beds:** 12
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:3 for all shifts
- **Float Required:** Yes - MS
- **Weekend Coverage:** Every Other Weekend
- **Local Candidates:** Not accepted; must be > 75 miles from the facility
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year
- **1st Time Traveler Acceptance:** Yes
- **Certifications Required:** ACLS and BLS

**Patient Diagnoses:**

- DKA
- Acute Respiratory Needs (BiPap, High Flow, Vent/Trachs)
- ETOH Withdrawal
- Sepsis
- CPORTS
- Nursing Intensive/Heavy

**Skills Required:**

- Blood Product Administration
- Central Line Care/Management
- Feeding Tube Care/Management
- Heparin Protocols
- IV Insulin Protocols
- Management of Dysrhythmias
- Phlebotomy
- Starting and Maintaining IVs
- Telemetry

**Special Procedures:**

- Mandatory competency in phlebotomy
- IV placement is a required skill

**Unit Details:**

- **Interdisciplinary Support:** IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy
- **Special Equipment:** CADDS, PCA Pumps
- **Patient Age Groups:** Adults, Geriatrics
- **Daily Census:** Varies

**Additional Information:**

- Candidates will float
- EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
- Background review policy on a case-by-case basis
