- **Guaranteed Hours:** 48

- **Unit Name:** 3 North MedSurg
- **Number of Beds:** 49
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5
- **Unit Staffing:**
- 1 Unit Secretary
- 5 PCTs on Days
- 3 PCTs on Nights
- **Type of Equipment:**
- Welch Allen / Dynamap VS machines
- Bladder scanner
- Hoyer lift
- Sara Steady
- Wound vacs
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Scheduling Requirements:**
- 12 hour shifts
- 3 weekend shifts within a 4 week schedule period
- **Floating Policy:** Per facility policy
- **Patient Experience Requirements:**
- Create personal connections with patients
- Utilize AIDET principles
- Conduct bedside shift report
- Implement hourly rounding
- **Certifications Required:**
- MO RN License
- BLS
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- IVs
- Foley catheters
- External urinary catheters
- Wound care
- Post-op care
- Trach care
- NG tubes
- Feeding tubes
- **Dress Code:**
- Navy Blue scrub top
- Navy or black scrub pant
- Undershirt and/or scrub jacket must be navy, white, or black
- No sweatshirts or track jackets
- **Number of Positions Available:** 4/4
- **Contract Weeks:** 91
