Telemetry RN Job Details

• Job Title: Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Location: Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 (New Jersey nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma, Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Assignment Length: 6 weeks
• Start Date: August 18, 2025
• Shift: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 – $1,910

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license (RN license NJ)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR (electronic medical records)
• Fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19, including at least one booster
• Submission of required documents: cover letter, resume, skills checklist, references, and license verification

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry/PCU unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for acute care patients
• Float to similar nursing units as needed to provide clinical support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document all care and interventions accurately using EPIC EMR
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital protocols while providing compassionate care
