Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour night shifts)
• Total Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,111 – $2,345

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or acute care setting
• Experience with 12-hour night shifts preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and communication skills
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications, IVs, and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams on patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
