Med/Surg Telemetry Nursing Job Details

• Employment Type: PRN (as needed)

• Location: Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania 19046 (Greater Philadelphia area)

• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1890-$1990

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and work collaboratively with clinical teams

Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and discharge planning
