Radiology Technician Job Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm healthcare job opportunity)
• Location: On-site in Richmond, VA 23233 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• No weekends or on-call required
• Permanent salary potential: $100,000 – $104,000 per year (based on 40-hour work week)

Radiology Technician Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Radiology program
• ARRT MRI certification (Required)
• ARRT CT certification (Highly Preferred)
• Virginia state Radiology Technician License (Highly Preferred; required for patient care in Virginia)
• Willingness to obtain Virginia Radiology Technician license prior to employment if not already held
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician (2+ years highly preferred)
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment is a plus
• Proven track record of excellent patient care (Required)

Radiology Technician Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and MRI scans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all radiology procedures
• Operate and maintain radiology and imaging equipment according to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused healthcare environment
