 </li><li>Unit: Cardiac ICU (CVICU)
 </li><li>Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
 </li><li>Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/18/2026)
 </li><li>Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
 </li><li>Hours per Week: 36
 </li><li>Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840–$1,980 per week
 </li><li>Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
 </li><li>Float Requirement: As needed within skillset (MICU, SICU, other medical units; max 4 patients)
 </li><li>Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1
 </li><li>Charting System: Cerner
 </li><li>Scrub Color: Navy Blue

<h2>ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state)
 </li><li>Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience (Cardiac ICU/CVICU preferred)
 </li><li>BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
 </li><li>Previous travel nursing experience preferred
 </li><li>Strong clinical skills in cardiac and neuro critical care
</li></ul>

<h2>Cardiac ICU RN Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
 <li>Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac ICU (CVICU)
 </li><li>Monitor and manage patients recovering from open heart, neuro, and vascular surgeries, trauma, and medical overflow
 </li><li>Perform and assist with advanced procedures: chest tube insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter, temporary pacers, cardiac continuous output, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, tracheostomy, PEG, and G/J tubes
 </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
 </li><li>Float to MICU, SICU, and other medical units as needed within skillset
 </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EHR system
 </li><li>Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
</li></ul>
