Arizona ICU Nurse Job Details

• Location: Sun City West, AZ 85375 (Phoenix metro area)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880 - $2020
• On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
• Employment Type: Travel RN, W2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• No license hits or disciplinary actions
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered with documentation)
• AZ home address on driver's license not eligible
• Must meet facility-specific background check requirements

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans and ICU procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per hospital policies
• Comply with all safety, infection control, and healthcare compliance standards
