ICU Nursing Job Details

Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 (New Mexico nursing jobs)
Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing – ICU RN jobs
Start Date: November 2, 2025
End Date: January 31, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,720 - $1,840 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state license (Santa Fe healthcare jobs)
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
TNCC certification
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
Strong communication skills and sensitivity to patient rights

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Coordinate and deliver patient care for ICU patients
Maintain quality, efficient, and safe care in accordance with ICU standards
Demonstrate professionalism and respect in all interactions with staff, physicians, patients, and families
Respond promptly to emergencies and crisis situations
Ensure accurate documentation and clear communication with the healthcare team
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Participate in ongoing nursing education and training
