CVICU Travel Nurse Job Details

- Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 27, 2025
- Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour shifts, any shift)

- Employment Type: W2
- Openings: 3 CVICU RN positions available
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required for Cincinnati healthcare jobs)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or critical care nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
CVICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to advanced cardiac treatments
- Administer medications, manage ventilators, and operate advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac procedures, recovery, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment for patients and colleagues
