Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Kansas City, KS 66160 (Kansas nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (CVOR) – Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Start Date: November 2, 2025
• End Date: February 1, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (may include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; flexible schedule)
• Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends as needed
• On-Call Requirements: Approximately 1 weekend per month
• Holiday Requirements: Required
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2800 - $3000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• Strong recent scrub and circulating experience in cardiac surgeries
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• Nicotine-free facility policy compliance
• Willingness to float to Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Scrub and circulate during cardiac surgeries, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Float to other operating rooms and departments as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare facility policies, including nicotine-free requirements
