PCU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Gilbert, Arizona 85234
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
• Openings: 2 Registered Nurse positions
• On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
• Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)
• No license restrictions or disciplinary actions
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license
• Compliance with all facility background checks and documentation requirements

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately and in a timely manner
• Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage complex patient cases
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality standards
