Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Imaging Radiology Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
• Start Date: June 17, 2024
• End Date: September 16, 2024
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1810 - $1940

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting
• Proficiency in at least one imaging modality: Vascular, MRI, CT, Dexa, or Diagnostic Radiology
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures per physician orders and established protocols
• Operate and maintain radiology and imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic health records
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
