Compensation

ER RN Job Details – Ithaca, NY

• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
• Start Date: June 9, 2025
• End Date: September 8, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state (required for New York nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (ER RN experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department within the full scope of Registered Nurse practice
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for emergency patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to emergency treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Support and educate patients and families, offering emotional support as needed
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients, including those with behavioral health or mental health needs
