Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 24, 2025 – February 23, 2026)
Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200 - $2360
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (New York State or compact license required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Experience floating to Post-Partum unit required
Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) required
Current BLS certification

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
Float to Post-Partum unit as needed to provide clinical support
Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth process
