Travel RN - Telemetry Unit

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Telemetry (4 Central/61121)
Beds: 32
Staff per shift: 7-12
Night Shift Staff: 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, 1 sitter
Patient Ratios: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
Equipment: GE Telemetry system
EMR System: Meditech

Required Skills and Experience

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of experience in telemetry or related specialty
Telemetry experience is required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License

Preferred Skills

Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
Meditech EMR experience

Typical Procedures

IV starts
Foley catheter starts
Chest tube removal
