Travel ER RN Job Details – Augusta, GA

• Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1460-$1500
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks (12/15/2025 – 2/9/2026)
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Healthcare Setting: 59-bed Emergency Department, average 165-175 patients/day
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Rare

ER RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Ability to work at least one major holiday during assignment if applicable
• Maximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO) during assignment
• Two supervisory references preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities for Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and manage care for patients with acute conditions, including stroke and STEMI
• Utilize Epic EMR for all charting and clinical documentation
• Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
